Of course you missed the point. And you don't seem to give a shite about the other sports, so don't claim them for yourself. Nobody's saying anything negative about your athletics department. Eh, I lived in Alabama in the early to mid 2000s and people I knew for years who exhibited 0 interest in football back then would now have you believe they were hardcore Tiders their entire life

As a LSU alum, a Baton Rouge native, and a member of this site for 10+ years, I wonder about this often myself.

Do you remember all the threads on this SI Cover in 2010? How we aren't a dynasty, etc. etc. I guess they were right at the time but, in hindsight, SI are know it alls.

I see the cult got this post going again after it died. Does it count as two separate post if that happens ? I know how important it is to get your credits early and often.
