Your insinuation was that Chubb was as good a back as Yeldon, right?
WG doesn't do "insinuations". He's straight to the point. Dude asked an honest question about the season stats.

You're eyes should tell you that we have the second best rushing offense in the conference. But hey, keep using the old eyeball test and be wrong.

You guys took it all personally, which is a total Richt move.

All I was saying is that it would be more apparent that Chubb was the better back if he had a great o-line like Alabama's.

I hope you guys can live with this opinion and move on with your Monday finally.

East

You DO realize that Chubb has had significant time in two games and one of those games was against a West team, right?

Well, I'm saying that Chubb doesn't have the body of work to make that type of "backdoor" conclusion.

Wait.....that's not what Alabama fans were saying about Derrick Henry after the Sugar Bowl last year.

Let's talk when he averages over 1000 and 6 ypc for 2 years.

And yet Buga was going for a preseason Heisman.

Not me, pal. He is/will be a super back but a couple of games does not make a career...or good gauge to determine overall ability.

Georgia is Running Back Statistics National Champs like LSU is Baseball Attendance National Champs.

It must be nice.

And like Alabama is "Living in the Past" National Champs? Like that?

I'd argue that our o-line this year is playing as well as anyone's in the country.

I actually like Fournette. thought he would make a huge impact this year. AND, he has made a good ipact, and might make a HUGE impact before the season is over. But right now....Chubb is looking better. Only time will say which ends up being the better back.

If you think you're rustling our jimmies you're gonna have to bring a lot more ammo than that.

The you are the exception to the rule of the Bama posters on this board.

That is not a knock on Bama fans...just an observation. We are all guilty of it.
See: Fournette
Gurley/Marshall
Henry

It is just the nature of the beast to try to crown the next great player. We are all guilty of it. To think otherwise is simply ignoring all the posts on this board.

I've enjoyed watching the young guy do damage. And I don't have a problem saying he may possibly be the better back. However, I'll take the championships over the better stats any day.

Well, certainly. ANYBODY would take championships over statistics. This is more, or less, a rebuttal to bamaDocs (I believe) claim that Yeldon was a better back than Gurley. He INSISTED Yeldon was the best back in the SEC and possibly the country.

we all know bama won't be the team on the other sideline

The east is so bad they should just give the other spot to a west team. 4 of the top etc. east sucks.

He is pretty good tho. I'm not saying he's better than Gurley but he'll do.
