Chubb has only played significantly in two games.

which is what makes the stats even more impressive, IMO.

I love it when people don't have anything to say about facts based on current events so they have to say "oh, well come back in 2016 and THEN we'll see what's what!"

Georgia is Running Back Statistics National Champs like LSU is Baseball Attendance National Champs.

It must be nice.

Yes, who needs a decent sample size.

Well the title of the thread specifically says "2014 stats", so they both have the same amount of games for this data set.

I've never really been impressed all that much with TJ Yeldon compared to previous BAMA backs. Even Glen Coffee. But I really don't care. I feel Kenyan Drake was actually our best back.

Both are quality backs. Congrats on him showing up this season. It looks like you guys have the go to back after Gurley.

Chubb > Yeldon and honestly if Chubb's o-line (and coaching) wasn't horseshite he'd be a household name.

Pretty crazy to think that chubb has done so well after only seeing significant time in just 2 games this season.

Gotta be more than 2 games to get 100 carries.

I really do believe that Sony Michel is a better back than Chubb. And more of an all-around threat.

But Chubb has something (at least to date) that no Georgia back has had in a long, long, time.

Durability. That right there makes me very happy.

And he doesn't fumble, even with two screws holding his thumb together.

Oops. Come to think of it, that thumb issue may work against my whole 'durability' argument.

If he fumbles against Florida while sustaining a season ending injury I may just have to kill myself now.

I think Yeldon's working on his 3rd 1000 yard season, right? Get back to us when you've got a real body of work to compare.
