It was a joke. Dobbs is good - could be great

But seriously our defense is just awful

NFL.com Scout's Take: Josh Dobbs an Emerging Superstar

South Carolina made me look like an Emerging Superstar too.

I hear ya man. It looks exactly like when Sunseri tried to go 3-4 here. Rough.

To be fair, both our defenses played pretty bad. Tn just made some crucial stops at the end. And decided to swing around DT and push him back down.

If ya ain't cheating, you ain't trying.

Peterman didn't really get a fair chance, did he?

No one's basing it off South Carolina. They're basing off the fact he did the same to Bama.

Haha.

At least Dobbs scored on Bama. Multiple times. Unlike Mr. Trill.

You remember him shitting the bed last year vs Florida?

He hasn't looked any better. Ever.

I want to be really really high on Josh Dobbs and i personally think he has what it takes to bring Tennessee back to the top, but part of me is telling me to not get my hopes up because time after time Tennessee has disapointed me in the end. As a Vol fan base I think we all need to step back a little bit and let time work out with Dobbs. 2 great games doesn't mean he's going to be a great just as the multiple games he started in last year didn't he was going to suck his whole career to.

Well he is throwing for 58% of his passed with 4 TDs and 2 picks in 2 games so he isn't just playing insane. He's playing average

Yeah, 301 yards passing 2 TDs, 175 yards rushing 3 tds. Leads an 85 yard TD drive with1:20 left and no TOs to tie the game.

Very average.

So why hasn't he been starting from the beginning? Is he just a gamer?

The redshirt thing that Prof said is true. Another thing I haven't seen mentioned is that Dobbs easily looked the best of the 4 at our spring game earlier this year. Then during the summer, he went out to Cali to work with QB guru George Whitfield and came back a complete mess for fall camp. Not sure what happened but Dobbs couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

He's a good little QB. He impressed the hell outta me when UT played Bama. Somebody needs to find some eyebrows for him, though.

Y'all would've had an absurd amount of sacks if Peterman or even a healthy Worley had played all game. As our oline coach said "he makes us right when we're wrong."

As for his eyebrows I kinda feel sorry for him but that's just hair loss condition. Don't think there's anything that can be done for it. Ja'Waun James had similar eyebrow issues and receding hair.

Listen to Shaft. We're all eyebrow shaving now.

Seriously, most in our own fanbase don't know why his eyebrows are like that so don't sweat it.
