Hill is so much quicker than Blount and not as powerful. He's the same size and same type of runner as Murray. Good speed and a one cut and go type back. For whatever reason people think Murray is slender, dude is 230 pounds.

Hill runs a 4.56 40. Murray 4.41. Blount 4.59

Even if Jeremy Hill kills it at the combine, no way he gets into the low 4.4's and his height really hurts his agility. He is more like Blount.

Mason reminds me a lot of Trent. Hope he pans out better in the league. Never doubt Jim Brown!

Mason is a really good back and I think he will be a good pro but Jeremy Hill ran for 1400 yards and 16 tds without playing 3 games and having a little more than half the carries as Mason.

No other SEC back (not even Jeremy Hill) is mentioned in the article
Probably b/c the article was written before Hill declared. Everyone assumed he was staying

And Ka'Deem Carey just declared so this article will probably have to change its title shortly.

I'd compare Mason to a slightly taller MJD.

If you look at the above GIF and think DeMarco Murray, you need to seriously rethink your opinions on the game.

NFL doesnt place priority on RB's anymore. you can win with a decent 2 back combo. dont need a star, just need a role player.
