Really? A bunch of bama fans are hoping an auburn player doesn't play well? Next your gonna tell me that Michigan fans hated seeing OSU win last year

All I did was comment on the ridiculous amounts of hype he is getting from the very little playing time he has seen.

but NO shite I WANT HIM TO FAIL. He plays for Auburn.

He gets the hype for a number of reasons. Not only does he have incredible talent, but he's also coming into a near perfect situation for a QB. This will be his 3rd year under one of the best offensive coaches in the nation. He's got a incredible offensive line in front of him and a Star WR to throw the ball to. He might not turn out to be what everyone has hyped him up to be, but the pieces are in place for him to reach his full potential, whatever that is.

We all talk about all the Arkansas busts in the NFL. Like McFadden and Mallet
Who considers McFadden a bust? He's been pretty good, especially considering where he had to play.

Nah, they have 18 5* backups that can play anywhere in the country, besides Bama.

This is no different than predicting the 4 playoff teams 5 months before the season. Scouts that do this sound like morons to me. Hell, the week before the draft players are flying up and down boards. This "scout" has no clue who he'd take right now.

I'm not saying JJ won't be awesome btw

So, Gus rode a converted DB to a 5 loss season when he could have been playing a future first rounder?

It is amazing how many idiots try to make that same point when Auburn's offense really wasn't the problem in any loss last year except Georgia

The only one of those 5 losses that had anything to do with QB play would've been the UGA game. Unless Marshall would've had that big of an impact at DB.

2012- Johnny Manziel

2013- Jameis Winston

2015- Jeremy Johnson

What do all 3 have in common?

They all start with a "J"?

Still, he played a guy that didn't get drafted over a guy I'm supposed to believe is a potential first round draft pick?

I also like how Nick Marshall is just a "converted DB" like he never played QB before AU or JC. He only set the Georgia HS record for career TD passes... Until now his one year at Georgia is the only year in his football career he didn't play QB

And yet he converted back to DB to try and make it in the NFL...

Why throw him into the fire when you have an SEC championship winning QB that's quite capable of moving the offense? Plus Marshall fit that read option offense a lot better than JJ did. And it's not like he didn't play. He's gotten into a lot of games over 2 years.
UGA has been lucky to have had several 3+ year starters. Just a difference in philosophy.

Maybe you don't remember the same guy going to the national championship game the year before... Hence, our defense screwed us last year.
