@AllbrightNFL: Small sample size, but the more I watch Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson, the more I'm convinced there's a potential future #1 overall pick here.

@SeanLDurham So here's the question. With the sample sizes, you more confident in Johnson or Cardale re pro outlook?

@SeanLDurham @AllbrightNFL tough one. Give me Johnson though.

Bama 8-5, JJ Heisman. I love pre-season full-Barnage.

2012- Johnny Manziel

2013- Jameis Winston

2015- Jeremy Johnson

What do all 3 have in common? They were all 3 relatively unknown before winning the heisman in their first year as a starting quarterback

Jeremy Johnson? unknown? I have been hearing about how great he is since last season. Now he is being hyped up hugeeeeee this offseason. I wouldn't quite say he is unknown.

And for that matter Jameis Winston wasn't unknown before his first season. Basically anyone who followed college football knew who he was. He was a big time recruit.

JJ hasn't won it yet, but it wouldn't shock me if he did this year or next going by what I've heard about him and what little I've seen of him.

I see 3 NFL busts, but whatever floats your boat.

So he's better than a third stringer? Print the heismans

We all talk about all the Arkansas busts in the NFL. Like McFadden and Mallet

I think if Jeremy Johnson isn't Cam Newton like, some people are going to be disappointed.

Reality is we have no clue how good he is. It's riduculous that he's a Heisman contender already. He could be Cam Newton or he could Kiehl Frazier. It's most likely he'll be somewhere in between there though.

That's really weird that there's an NFL scout named Jeremy Johnson too. I just don't understand what he's doing over this Cardale Jones character in this thread.

edit: oh NOW I get the wording, NFL scout Jeremy Johnson is like SO over Cardale Jones because they broke up or something

You wouldn't want a Heisman trophy winner that turns out to be a NFL bust to play for Arkansas?
