Clowney is the best player in the draft. Don't get me wrong. But I think this is a bad pick for the Texans. They need help on offense in the worst way. They should have drafted an OT or Johnny Manziel.

Rumor is the Texans are going to trade with the Pats for Ryan Mallett. Probably won't happen, but I agree - the Texans need a QB in the worst way.

Clowney and Manziel. Both have potential highs but both have potential negatives. Houston did everything put to and including sitting on their pick to trade down.

I thinking that the Texans are gambling the QBs will still be there in the 2nd round, or they are going to do some trading and secure another 1st round pick.
