If Mauk is transferring, they absolutely should sit Mauk and start Lock for the rest of the season.

The dude who posted the rumor claimed he was getting it from a former Mizzou player. The poster wouldn't name the player though, so he could be former linebacker #55, Fairydust McIdon'texist.
I have no idea if the poster "citizenpaper" is a Springfield News-Leader reporter or not. If he is, he should probably work on putting his rumor scoops out there on his own newspaper's website first somehow rather than Rivals. If it were remotely true why would he give another reporter like Gabe a chance to ferret it out and scoop him?

Well the NL has become worse as the years have gone on. Lyndall tries hard but his support staff and the resources they have are hideous.

It's not a bad paper as papers go, but the sports coverage could be so much better considering the amount of interest in sports in this area between the KC and STL pro sports, the baby birds, MU, Arkansas, MSU, and even OU and OkSt. We have a gold mine of interesting sports news and relatively little is covered.
