the teams split into four six-team divisions. They play a 12 game schedule with five games against teams in your division, two against each of the other three divisions, and one against someone outside of the confederation.

We already have to play tech, so basically we'd play a 12 game murderer's row gauntlet with zero down games. OH, plus a potential SECCG for whatever team makes it there after 2 or 3 losses in the regular season. Oh, then if you're lucky you get to go to a playoff and play 2 other teams ranked in the top 4.

Mandel's problem is that he's looking from the perspective of a fan sitting at home on the couch in his boxers swilling beer all day. I mean, who wouldn't want to see a top 15 match-up every game every week!!!! The problem is that as a fan of one individual school, this fricking sucks. Unless you're one of tGOAT all time teams you aren't getting through that schedule with less than 2 losses. Not to mention you simply need at least ONE cupcake to get your legs back under you.

This would be cool in a video game, not real life.

Pretty sure he was pointing out that you have no voice in the matter. Worry about your investigation bro.

This was already posted. It was a stupid proposal then and it remains so now. It is attempting to make college football just like the NFL - devoid of pagentary, rivalries, and tradition.

if I become a Tennessee fan do I suddenly gain the right to accurately point out that Tennessee hasn't done shite in years?

The reality is a full national super conference containing only the nationally relevant teams should be much smaller than 24 teams. Heck, the FOUR team playoff last year wasn't small enough to avoid an embarrassing shut out.

Also I'm not an Ole Miss fan, I'm a fan of whoever can beat Alabama. So I haven't been a vol fan in awhile and don't expect to be one any time soon.

That is a killing schedule to put college kids through. Their bodies would be beaten up before they could go to the NFL.

Yeah, 12 game gauntlet, plus possible championship game, plus possible 2 playoff games.

Taht would only be cool if you have zero rooting interest whatsoever in CFB.

Then please remove any and all OM stuff from your account.

That way we don't get mistaken from having dumbass fans/posters like yourself. We have enough of those already.

LOL. Your team has won 9 SEC games since we joined the conference. (In 4 years) But I know you lose to quality teams so somehow that makes you relevant.

This would be cool, but for it to work the NCAA would have to use relegation for a number of teams (I would say 4). Have a 2nd tier super conference that the top 4 teams get promoted and the bottom 4 of the playoff confederation get demoted every year. Keeps it interesting.

how many years in a row have we been told Tennessee is back for that to end up being not even remotely true?

yeah, maybe this is your year, Tenneessee is trending up(ish). But it's such a joke so many vol fans act like us doubters are the ridiculous ones being unconvinced by preseason hype machine version 5.0

When Tennessee goes 7-5 and beats up some joke Big 10 team in the who cares bowl are you gonna be there apologizing about throwing shade on everyone who laughed at the preseason top10 rankings or are you gonna be there declaring 2017 presumptive national championships?

Well well, here's an idiot. You're completely right that we've only won 9 SEC games since y'all joined. You're correct about that. Here's some facts that make you look stupid.

The West is MUCH more competitive than the East
aTm has more media than Missouri, better facilities & better future
Arkansas more of a following than MIZZOU.

All I said is that you're stupid if you think Missouri brings more than aTm does.

So a team that has sniffed the end of the season top 15 rankings exactly once in 15 years belongs in this super conference? (And twice for Arkansas) LOL.

the last i checked stewie had no real connections to arkansas football therefore if you've got complaining to do about a make believe conference take it to him. we didn't create the list.

This is exactly why relegation would be necessary
