Alabama mooches off the federal government so they can introduce bills like this? They should be worried about the poverty and obesity epidemics in Alabama. And the roads. And education. And pretty much everything that can be wrong with a state.

But what does any of that have to do with football? We have priorities

People have been trying to get us to claim our 12 undefeated season for years, which is tied with Alabama for most in the SEC.

First that is ONE person asking for it... almost like how Bama did it (From the same article BTW)

The University of Alabama increased their title claims during the ’80s, jumping from six national titles to twelve.

Just how did they make such a leap?

Former Alabama Sports Information Director Wayne Atcheson decided to add five national championships from before the Bear Bryant-era into the school’s media guide before the 1986 season.

Bro. Seriously. This thread isn't about Alabama. Why do you have to try to make it so? You're a decent poster most of the time, but sometimes you're like a child, "They did it! Why can't I do it?" Go cry somewhere and get over it.

Well, we've won 4 undisputed titles since then. If giving us credit for "only" 10 titles makes you feel better, then by all means simply give us credit for the SEC best 10 titles you feel Bama deserves.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe something to do with the fact that he represents Senate district 27, otherwise known as Tallapoosa, Russell, and Lee counties.

Just quoting the same article that the OP posted from... did not dig it up, etc...

This was also for the Bama fan who wants to focus on Auburn.

EDIT: I Give Bama credit for 14 (1941 is a true joke)... I do believe Auburn should claim 3...

I already claim 12 for AU, so I oppose taking away 3.

We have 12 national titles right now, not 9. Do not support bill.

Agree about 1941, but we've also been robbed of 1966, so I still claim 15.

This is a little different than a senate bill.
