I will be extremely arse hurt if UT and UF aren't paired together.

UT's should be:
1.UK
2.UF
3.VU

Mizzou - Arkansas, Kentucky, Vandy

Arkansas probably makes the most sense as the primary and TAMU seems like a decent choice for #2.

Vandy could be a good spot for #3 by travel, colors, and possibility of well matched games.

We'll get UK, UT, and UGA. I'm pretty certain of it.

A&M doesn't make much sense for Mizzou. The schools aren't very close geographically and only real history is from the Big 12 where they were in different divisions (and never had anything close to a basketball rivalry).

Hopefully the SEC tries to build some new rivalries instead of pairing Mizzou and A&M up. A&M should play teams close to them like LSU, Arky, Miss State, Ole Miss.

Florida - Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina

If that's true then UF got fricked because that will be the toughest draw in the conference within the next few years.

SCAR's is not much better with Georgia, Auburn, Florida.

Kentucky may have the toughest with Florida, Tennessee, Mizzou ... if Mizzou holds-up their end of the bargain when we let them in and actually becomes a respectable basketball program.

UK, UGA, and South Carolina would be the easiest draw we could possibly get.

But we're not going to get South Carolina because I can't imagine us not drawing UT and UGA is more of a natural rival than USC, even though I don't consider UGA a rival in basketball.

UT seems like they should draw UK, UF, and Vandy, but that'd be the toughest draw in the conference. It'll be interesting to see if the SEC throws in a South Carolina at the expense of UK or UF to balance out the schedules.

I want a hard draw in basketball. Wins over the Miss. States and and Ole Misses of the world literally mean nothing. They can only hurt you.

As long as we keep UK.

I hope our three are Tennessee, Vandy and Mizzou but I know everybody wants us matched with Florida.

The 2 best programs should be playing each other as much as possible.

Florida and Tennessee are pretty much non-negotiables at this point. I'd like to see Mississippi State or Vandy for the third.

ETA: Florida has been a solid rival for at least a decade at this point. Don't know how that's not established to some given what both programs have done over that decade.

It does if Mizzou wants to recruit TX. TAMU basketball has never been a super power and putting Mizzou in TX as the SEC school trying to beat the B12 schools for recruits makes the most strategic sense.

Texas isn't a big recruiting state for Mizzou in basketball like it is for football. Think we have only one guy from TX on our roster. Mizzou focuses a lot more on St. Louis and Memphis. Ole Miss would be an interesting rival given the proximity to Memphis.

And yet we have regularly beat you over the last decade with players in your backyard that you overlooked.

Absolutely. Do not want Bama. TSIO has nothing to do with basketball.

I don't see why it's good to have you play Fl twice every year.

I just wouldn't want to wind up with you and Fl both on my list of 3.
