I dont see any way the sec goes to a 9 game schedule unless playoffs go to 16 teams.

One of the first years Alabama doesn’t have a straight up cupcake before the iron bowl. Interesting

Yeah instead we get a cupcake before the Mercer game.

That is one tough team to prepare for.

Bets on when Napier gets fired? I’d put a lot on after the Mississippi State game if he loses it. I can easily see them losing to Miami and 8&4feit in the first 3 weeks. A 2 or 3 win season is a real possibility
Florida’s schedule is brutal.

They probably end 0-5.

double bye

I like the double bye and wish everybteam had it after 4 games. Just stagger start weeks for sec teams so that we have teams on TV every week but with added games it would be more beneficial to the players to have a rest after 4 games and may help reduce injuries during season.

Easiest Schedule: Texas
Hardest: Florida

Texas will not win more than some of the other SEC team at the end of next season.

Did anyone else notice that Auburn has 5 home games in a row to start the season?

Everyone had a double bye a few years ago. I can’t remember the year but it was 2019, 2020, 2021. It wasn’t that long ago anyway.

It was unadulterated fear and collusion.
the same way bama changed their bye week to right before the LSU match up every year? Yeah.
