I've seen several times over the years where high school football coaches have tried to get involved and dictate where a player should go. I've never seen a case where things ended well for the high school coach.

These are some of the primary public schools in the city

I think Ogre is more concerned about the public secondary schools in NOLA anyway.

This board has gotten so low to troll LSU fans that they make slavery analogies in regards to our recruiting. Nice.

Seems like Jujubean could quell this easily by coming out and saying it was to his benefit with the sick wife or whatever.

That was a bad analogy the poster made, but you have to admit your fanbase gives GOOD players crazy amounts of shite for leaving the state - especially if they had an LSU offer. You guys do act like they are SUPPOSED to come to LSU just because they grew up there. Not everyone from LA loves LSU the way posters on this site from LA do. You guys need to lighten up a bit.

The bond to the state that Louisiana people have is both a positive(cajun navy, rebuilding efforts after the storm, etc) and a negative(the way we act like children when we think someone turns their back on "us")

I'm surprised something like this didn't happen in the metro areas of Texas after Strong was fired.

It was pretty crappy, and it LOOKED worse. They didn't even wait 24 hours after NSD to fire him. And firing him is what was reported, not giving him some menial, low paying "administration" job as a janitor in the building. "O" is exposed as an "o"sshole...

You should get a job at ESPN. Report on situations you only have a superficial bit of knowledge about.

He wasn't fired and it was not reported that he was fired. You are just making stuff up.

Have you lost your mind or do you just make things up? Here is the headline from the Times-Pic article... this is what all of New Orleans saw... dufus....

"Coach O Points His Firing Finger"

"...Apparently, LSU receivers coach Dameyune Craig and running backs coach Jabbar Juluke, both of whom had a hand in recruiting half of the Tigers' 23-man 2017 signing class announced Wednesday, somehow gave new head coach Ed Orgeron just enough ammo to dump them Thursday...."
