Yeah, you can only have 3 logos. One in the middle, and two smaller ones elsewhere

Good, now if the NCAA can do something to ban houndstooth, croakies, and coaches wearing visors, the games would be easier to attend.

The underlying point to the OP is, To what end do all these regulations go to? To clean up the fields? Or for the NCAA to tout what little power is has over college football? Because it certainly doesn't have control of many things going on in College Football, like recruiting for instance.
I think this is a feeble attempt to retain what little power they still hold.

Yes it is, it doesn't matter what hat you wear, straw or same color with a feather, everyone thinks you are a douche.
The jersey of your favorite player, freshly groomed pencil line beard, flat bill fitted hat/ a snap back is also acceptable to go along with jeans or school color shorts of some sort will never go out of style and always be acceptable.
