So if a player dives to break up a pass and uses his shoulder to knock the shite out of the receiver's chest, it's a penalty?

They called it on Vandy when he just hit the shite out of our guy and never left his feet. Lead with shoulder and all.

What you describe is a legal hit. Get a clue before you post.

Who gives a shite if the helmet comes off or not. It was their decision. I don't like that if a helmet comes off the play is dead. That's bullshite.

Exactly. One of the reason I hate it is b/c another player can rip the bitch off to make you sit out a play. I've already seen what looked like an intentional removal of the helmet by a d-lineman. I would duct tape the fricker on.

Nope. Basketball player, amazing flag football player, rock climber and ultra trail runner. I have zero musical talents. Well, I can kinda play a didgeridoo.

Pretty difficult to do if it's strapped on properly, and would probably result in a facemask penalty.

no it isnt

strap that shite on correctly and dont have massive dreads/long hair that makes it loose and it probably wont ever come off.

too bad so sad if you cant figure out how to strap it up.

now the new kickoff and onside kick rules? those blow goats.

Youre dumb as hell. And you're a cum suckin dumpster twat as well

He didnt launch.
He led with his shoulder into the receivers chest
Helmet contact was a byproduct of the initial hit (see chad jones vs arky)

I'm surprised youre competent enough to log onto a computer and post here

..you ignorant piece of shite.

And I believe the rule doesn't force the player off the field when a penalty is called as a result of it being ripped off (i.e. face mask).

Also FWIW, they were showing during the Wazzu/BYU game the other night that Riddell and others have added an additional flap to help secure the straps and to keep the helmet from coming off.

There's gonna be a situation this year where this scenario is going to decide a game.
