Early 90's just before the Big 12 merger A&M was killing it....the Big 12 wasn't so kind.
Missouri in the 90's was just awful. 00's was when we regained a pulse.

I think we wound up 71-62 overall. The first half played for the title twice, won once. (98)
For most of its life the Big12 south was no effin joke.
Then the Fran Years. {Shudders}

Hmm? Not in any reputable record-keeping I'm aware of. You aren't given an 'L' and the other team isn't awarded a 'W'

But that's not how vacated wins work.

And yet UF leads the series.
And vandy leads the all time series with auburn. What's your point?

Since 1990...
Bama - 4 NCs
UF - 3
LSU - 2
AU - 1
UT - 1
So the SEC has won about 44% of the National Championships since 1990. That is pretty impressive.

Miles is 6-4 against Florida, including 4 of the last 5.
Miles is 4-1 against Florida at home.
Doesn't bode well for 2015. And the hiring of McElwain as HC is just as questionable as the hiring of Kevin Steele as DC, albeit at a much more critical position.
Wouldn't surprise me if we evened the series by 2018.

Big "6" is and always has been stupid. Alabama is the best SEC team, and has been since the start. The rest of you are fighting for 2nd place.

When did the big 6 originate? I've always been familiar with it, but don't know the history/origin? I assume it was pre 92 expansion?

It was coined by a Birmingham newspaper in 1989 about the 6 schools who won the SEC during the decade.
I spent way too much time looking for this damn thing:

Bama sure seems to have a history of cheating. Why is that?

Someone give this guy some attention so it can stop.

What is a Big 6? #1 is the only thing that matters.
