AU/MSU #2/#3

AU/MSU's most historic game was 3-2, AU won.

Coincidence? I think not.
Solid logic.

Can you actually name 10 teams that look like top 10 teams?

Let's look at arizona then.

They've beaten: UNLV, UTSA, Nevada, Cal, and Oregon. They have 1 very good win and 4 mehs. Granted they are undefeated while we have a loss, but to go from 29th to 10th on the merit of beating the team currently ranked around 10th? Idk, just seems off.

I don't care where UGA is, and frankly I don't know whether I'd rank them top 10 or not. I do like that the AP is so willing to move teams around a lot, that's how it is supposed to be I think.

If UGA beats Mizzou they'll get solid credit I think.

Welcome to the new AP poll in the playoff era. Voters are going to do this type of stuff to keep maximum amount of teams in their sphere of self interest in the hunt.

Its ridiculous but its a new reality. I realize the AP poll doenst have any direct bearing on the playoff but its power to alter perception and creative narratives is real.

MSU deserves to be #3 but Ole Miss damn sure don't. I saw nothing yesterday from Ole Miss that looked like a #3 team in the country. They definitely beat the snot out of Alabama but the offense was awful to watch for most of that game and Bo Wallace was picking on a poor BAMA secondary.....and that wasn't until the 2nd half.

MSU is tough as nails and would beat OM by at least 3 touchdowns if they played today.

Neither team will be top 3 after October 11th.

I think MSU is better, but not by three touchdowns.

shite, Ole Miss has only surrendered like 3 defensive touchdowns all year.

What do you think the NCAA will do when they find out we have been combining players from both tLandmass teams?

Congrats to State and Ole Miss. Is this the highest ranking for each school in the AP poll?

Don't get your britches too hiked up yet...Ole Missy and Moo State will both lose games this year...did you freaking think you were now going undefeated? Aint happening and folks need to learn from previous years of college football and how difficult it is to go undefeated...I doubt there will be any undefeated teams left standing by years end.

Moral of this story is that it is better to lose early than later in the year. Bama aint hurt at all and sometimes a loss can a blessing.

But go ahead and enjoy yourselves while you can.

The refs gave Bama 7 points and you didn't see anything? That Bama team isn't as great as years past but it is without question a top ten team. Ole Miss made the plays needed to win the game. Forced fumble and a INT.

Is Ole Miss top 3? For now yes. It's a crazy year. Things will play out.
