Ya know were ... that he would end up at KY actually wouldn't surprise me. It would be a helluva hire for the Cats.

I'm not even clear what sort of demand he would be in. He's an offensive specialist known for trick plays, bad clock management, and churning out underwhelming offenses with superior talent. His tenure at LSU might actually have hurt his reputation in the specific sense of anyone wanting him as a coordinator. It might be "lower tier HC or bust" for him. It's just weird that someone with so much empirical success doesn't seem to have a particularly bright future if he's let go from his current situation. Maybe a position coach in the NFL? Didn't he do OL at Michigan?

Probably South Carolina after Muschamp is fired. It's where all the hand-me-down coaches go.
This. Why anyone would willingly coach there as their first choice is beyond me.

When has Les Miles ever been an "offensive specialist"? Most of his career is as an OL coach.

His entire career outside of HC has been on the offensive side. Ergo, that's what he specializes in. Hence, "offensive specialist." My word choice was descriptive, not argumentative.

Well if you're gonna be all descriptive-n-shite, why not be descriptive and describe him as an offensive line specialist?
Isn't that what LSU's "offensive strategy" is really all about?

Have always said and will continue to say that I'd take him in a heartbeat in AU

Because I chose not to. Also, he's been an OC -- a Sooner ought to know that unless he's 12 -- and coached TEs in the NFL. Neither are restricted to the OL. So I was being accurate. Stop being a bitch.

Shut up whoreface.
Now that we got that out of the way, his offensive "philosophy" springs from an Olinemen's mindset. That's why he does what he does so stubbornly.
