Yeah, I'm not sure what he's getting at either.

That has to be the longest continuous playtime I've seen all year.

Felt like U.K. Had 4 subs sitting at the scorers table for like 5 min of game time

I'm not making a case for them to be a Top 4 seed, but a team that won 30 games and dominated its conference the way Wichita State did shouldn't be a 10 seed. I would've had them as a 6 or 7. Just below SMU.

It certainly felt like it with Humphries out there.

Shockers played three power conference teams and lost every one. They were all tournament teams. But two of them were okie state and mich state. Who were seeded right around the shockers. I don't know why people are so up in arms

Beating Dayton doesn't prove anything either. This game would.

And they actually didn't dominate their conference. Illinois state was the number one seed in the conference tourney

This is why people wanted Gregg Marshall. His team is clearly not nearly as talented, but playing on top of UK.

If I'm Wichita State, I'd let Gabriel shoot it.

Dude is throwing up bricks.

Fox needs to just keep driving to the basket. It'll start opening things up.

And that's the shot they need to take. All day.

Yes, Wichita State is the most arrogant fan base.

They went 17-1 in conference with an average MOV of like 25. That's dominant. Illinois State had the same record and won tiebreaker via coinflip, but they weren't nearly as dominant.

It's the Missouri valley. Illinois state went 17-1 too. They weren't misseeded. Ok I state was a 10. Beat shockers. Spartans a 9. Beat shockers. The shockers haven't proved anything of note that they deserve some high seed. They just didn't.

Maybe beating dayton? But Michigan is 7 seed and they are considerably better than both those teams. Shockers should be happy where they got placed

Fox is in utter shock that he didn't get a flagrant foul on that last drive.

At the very least you can make the argument if the committee is going to pump up Gonzaga for their record against subpar competition in conference then it's hypocritical to put Wichita State as a 10 for their schedule.

I agree, but I think SMU is an even better comparison.

Went 30-4, lost most of its tough non-conference games, and then dominantly went 17-1 in a bad conference. Now, of course, the AAC is better than the MVC, but it's still shite. And when they got a 6 seed, people thought they were underseeded.

Dominating the teams on your schedule should mean something

Michigan was underseeded too. Not sure that's a great argument. Minnesota was one of the worst 5 seeds of all-time.

The committee really doesn't know what to do with mid-majors anymore

Not sure Uk could have had much of a worse shooting half, and with the refs letting them maul each other inside, better find a way to win the inside battle.

So different than league play.
