Would have rather kept the old system and just tweaked the Bowl tie ins. Don't really like the playoff. Adds another game that these kids don't need to play and it lessens both the regular season and the bowl games.

Irritates me that the #1 seed basically has an easy win some years since it's 1v4 and 2v3. Makes me feel like this is a playoff version of 2012, Alabama vs UGA both could've beaten ND but had to knock each other off.

We definitely need to see how the four teams playoffs go before jumping to 8. 4 may turn out to be just fine.
Absolutely. I think that tickets to semifinal games on the other side of the country are going to be a hard sell for many schools. I don't see many Bama fans spending a couple of thousand dollars each to go to a semifinal game in Pasadena or Glendale when the championship is in New Orleans the following week.
