Didn't a Judge and the Courts say that?

Wake up and smell the coffee. They change the rules because of the West Virginia judge had a 14 day freeze on players not being able to transferring. So the NCAA went ahead and made it a rule because I know it’s gonna go to courts and they’re gonna lose.

We have NIL killing traditional donor $$$ for upgrades, kids with unrestricted free agency and making more money than staff.

College athletics is dead. But long live the strategic minded leaders who can manage this mess.

The next dominant coach or AD in this new era should be our President.

I think there is a stay for now. As much as it pains me to say this, the only way this shite stops is Congress gets involved. I don’t want Congress to ever be involved in college athletics but it’s going to be a free for all after this latest lawsuit goes in favor of the plaintiffs. They’re even challenging having academic entrance requirements to qualify for a scholarship. This is the same court that ruled in favor allowing NIL to become what you’re currently seeing.

It's time to terminate all scholarships for sports, just like ivy schools.

We're in this mess because of Congress. We need solutions that involve the conferences. Forget the NCAA, forget the government. Major football conferences should come together and set rules and boundaries. Pay the athletes, have limits, salary caps, etc. Become a minor league of the NFL.

That's what the NCAA _is_. They don't want to fix anything.

frick it.

Scrap athletic scholarships altogether. Let every single athlete who wants to play in college gain entry to their preferred school under the same academic standards as every other student. If they have the grades and the test scores to get an academic
scholarship, fine. Then, have open tryouts. Give those who make the team a decent stipend and be done with it.

Anyone who doesn't want to go that route or can't make the grades, good luck. I suggest you get to supporting the other pro football alternatives or pray for a competent semi-pro farm system.

We've lost all semblance of college athletics, and it ain't for the best.

All the do-gooders and race baiters who clamored for NIL and the portal won't have a care in the world after the whole college game implodes and tens of thousands of poor kids no longer have access to college. They'll just move on to their next destructive crusade.
