he’s done about as well as he could recruiting since he’s taken the job. Huge DC hire and some nice assistant additions as well.

I don’t know why people are knocking the hire. He will make Arkansas competitive.

Everyone knows that anyone who works at UGA for more than 3 years could step in and run any Fortune 500 company with ease. Bringing Arky back from the dead will be child's play for Pittman.
I actually think it was a good hire but that last point was laughable.

It doesn't mean shite for anyone until you see wins and progress. Pittman is not Luke or Orgeron. He will make his own legacy, good or bad.
He did do a very fine job in a few days of recruiting and his hires.

Only people who hate on Pittman don't know his history. He is a great coach, well respected throughout the country, and one of the best recruiters as well.
90% of the coaching industry have to google Drinkwitz to see who he is. He took over a 10 win team and maintained it... wow, so impressive! /s

Matt Luke was NEVER #1 Oline coach in the country.
Matt Luke was NEVER EVER #1 rated recruiter in the SEC.
Pittman was/is both as of last frikkin month.
We'll let teh UGA fans say who the better OLine coach is.

Define competitive. I am sure he can improve the program, but that's a far cry from competing for the SEC West.

I get everyone wants to think their new coach is a great hire. I get it. But hes not. He was a desperation hire who had to lobby to get the job. Arkansas fell for the "we got burned by Kiffin so we have to get someone quick to move on from the story" script. Arkansas could have waited a few more weeks and seen where coaches in the NFL wound up. It was a dumb hire

How hard is this at UGA? They are the premier footbally school (by an incredibly large margin) in a state that puts out a ton of talent. They have won the SEC East in back to back years.

If you didn't know Pittman's success at OL and recruiting prior to GA then I am not sure you need to comment. Dude!

May be, may not be. Nobody knows. A few weeks ago he was a position coach. Big, big jump.
