In 30 years I do not know two peolpe who were mugged, stabbed or held at gun point in New Orleans. Now it happens almost nightly, but to know them is a little doubtful. Yeah my surgeon was stabbed. GTFO Shouldn't the surgeon be able to handle the knife a little better.

Seriously, if all this happened it is sad.

The surgeon wasnt the one that was doing the stabbing.

It's about time the spokesman for the majority got in this thread.

Come on, now. That's not the voice of the majority. Sure as hell isn't for me.

I hope they catch the thug bastards who did this and put their asses under the jail. I get caught up in the moment but holy $hit- assaulting someone over a f**king football game is animalistic, at best.

I'm truly sorry these things happened and spoiled what should have been a fun occasion- for everyone. I can only hope that the rest of us won't be judged by the actions of these idiots.

I like the journalistic strategy in the report as well. Speak of an alleged attack by an LSU fan, and then mention these other two random incidents at the end.

I agree and if you read outside of our little SEC bubble, all of these stories are making us look like trash. Perception is fact to some people.

Again It is horrible that this man had his jaw broken and I hope the frickers who did it get caught. But lets not add some other incidents to the end of this story to make it look like a civil war took place.

The article has very few details. I'd love to know where this happened and at what time.

Either way, it's pretty embarrassing. Seriously- some of this stuff making the news doesn't exactly do much to put either fanbase in a great light.

Both schools deserve better.

This. Between a teabagging Bama fan and Bama fans getting shanked and beaten by LSU fans, both fanbases need to grow up. It's just a game.

I missed the part of the article where it said an LSU FAN did the stabbing.

Big time SEC game for the NC in a city like NOLA? That's a disaster cocktail my friends.
