I like it. SEC seems to be locking in permanent homes for all the postseason events and I like the idea. Atlanta for football, Nashville for basketball, Birmingham for baseball.

For living and making money I would prefer Dallas or Austin.

For partying I prefer New Orleans.

I think he meant of towns with an SEC school. And if you'd rather live in Dallas than Nashville I feel sorry for you.

Good move. UK fans don't have to travel far. I preferred Atlanta but Nashville is fun, too.

Who doesn't like flat land, concrete, brutally hot weather, and scrubby little trees?

Also, JR Ewing used to live there.

A little south of the Capital of College Basketball, but close enough.

Darn was hoping for Houston to have a shot it in the not too distant future.

Blech. Nashville is severely overrated and Bridgestone Arena flat out sucks. I do a lot of work there, and find it a very disappointing and overpriced place to watch a game.

I wish the Baseball tourney was there too.

Compared to what? I'm a fan of Nashville, but then again I'm only a little over an hour away, so that helps.

And when has distance stopped them?

Why? There certainly aren't any good baseball facilities there. It sucks that Memphis isn't a nice place these days, because both AutoZone Park and the FedExForum are light years ahead of their counterparts in Nashville. Not even remotely close.
