Bart Starr did not really win anything at Alabama.

I would have said Eli Manning, but we did win the west with him.

He was on my mind. Back then LSU didn't throw the ball and from what I've heard Bert Jones had a rifle arm that most QB would give a nut for.

Archie did win a Sugar Bowl (1969 season I think). I was going to say him at first because didn't win the SEC, but for sure 1 bowl win. Maybe one his freshman year too.

I think Starr and Bert Jones would be at the top of my list. Not a large sample size of SEC QB's in the NFL that have either been great or at least won a Conf. Championship game.

How many other QBs listed have gone a season throwing only 1 int?

Bart Starr is definitely one.

Bert Jones would be another.

Bama did tie for the SEC Title with Stabler in '66, so I guess that might rule him out.

Babe Parilli won the SEC and a Sugar Bowl under Bryant...so that rules him out.

that's the criteria. Are you saying connor shaw is finished playing ball? If so, then he isn't great
