I thought the whole point was to take the next step and put fear into college football with this hire. Well, you didn't. You just kept the same status quo. Seems like a waste of time and effort.

Name one coach with a worse resume that LSU hired than Orgerons

Then compare that to the status of the LSU program now to 20 years ago and tell me how it computes

I hated my high school coach. Absolutely loathed that bastard as he was an all controlling sumbitch who was never satisfied. Never, ever happy and he treated us all like shite.

But we did go 36-2 during the time I played there.

Orgeron may work out and I hope he does but to act like this is the type of hire a program like LSU should make is ludicrous

But if allevas past decisions are any indication....

Maybe Orgeron does deserve a chance, but LSU at this point is not suppose to be the school that gives jobs to coaches looking for 2nd chances
