Chip has to reinvent himself to get back in the NFL.

I don't think it's salty to say he wouldn't accomplish that being an OC at ANY college program.

saban failed miserably in the NFL.

Chip won't improve anything coaching for an NFL failure.

Chip already knows how to win in college.

That's not why he would become attractive. If he dominates without running the HUNH, that would make him more attractive.

Do you know what Saban's record was in his two seasons with the Dolphins?

Can you change your team logo so these morons will know you aren't an Alabama fan?

ETA: Apparently stating you are an Oregon fan isn't enough for the mentally challenged.

Feldman is reporting Chip to Bama is a possibility. I am not sure why discussing the possibility is delusional.

Oh it's not. They just aren't smart enough to distinguish you from an Alabama fan due to your team logo.

Kinda like how they think they know Saban better than Alabama fans because he coached for them 12 years ago.

Staples just wrote an article echoing my sentiment. I have a double whammy being bisonduck with a Bama logo.

No way you could have Kelly and Saban in the same stadium much less the same sideline. Saban has a big enough ego as is....but Kelly's ego is epic.

I seem to recall a very similar argument being made three years ago regarding Saban and Kiffin. They did pretty good together for a while.

I just don't see Chip Kelly being anyone's punching bag. Just can't see it happening.

The more I hear about Chip, the more I KNOW he's an arsehole. He would never fit in with Saban and his philosophy. First he does not like to recruit....bad when you work for Saban. 2) He's benn the big boss before and he's been very successful at it.3) He's not a reclamation project like Kiffin was or Sarkisian is. He got caught up in the shite show that is the 49ers.

Difference was, Kiffin was radioactive at the time after what he did to Tennessee and then being dumped by Pat Hayden in the middle of the night. Prior to that, he got on the very wrong side of Al Davis....lucky Al did not kill him. Same with Cutty Sark although Sark has a disease and is not a huge a-hole. If I'm Kelly I would take a break for a year

I heard the Feldman interview & he said this only after being pushed by Finebaum to say it. What he did say that was 1000% spot on was that were bama to hire Kelly, they would be looking for a new coach in 10 mths. He went on to say that there could be several major openings after next season, A&M, AU, Ark. UT as examples & that Kelly would jump at any, leaving Saban back at square one 10 later. And giving Hurts his 3rd OC in less than a year.

That makes sense, but I don't think you worry about what might happen 10 months from now. you make this year's team the best you can and worry about the next year, next year. If Kelly (or anybody else) makes this year's team the best it can be, you get that person.

I get what you are saying. It could possibly work out great for both parties. I dont think Saban is willing to take on another project at this time. Not that Kelly wouldnt be great and he has a good reputation for the most part. I think Saban will find someone who will just fall in line and continue on as usual. Its extremely difficult to have an intelligent conversation around here with the dillusional LSU fans jumping in all the time. Its best if you dont pay them any attention, thats all they want is for someone to acknowledge them. They have plenty of their own problems they should be worrying about. L7U is nigh..

Chip was never going to take an OC job in CFB. Maybe the NFL but, certainly not Bama.

Chip just got passed up by an AA card toting Sark to be the OC on ATL.
