Congrats to Ole Miss on coming into Bryant-Denny and getting the win. Alabama has some serious issues that might cost us several games: QB play, our secondary, and our lackluster Special Teams. In retrospect, we shot ourselves in the foot so much last night that it would be hard to beat anyone. We actually looked dominant at times but with no solid piece at QB I'm afraid it will be a long year. I expect us to to drop 3 more this regular season.

You must not have watched the game if you think they were forced

I didn't understand why you start Bateman, who is very mobile, and he didn't run the ball. Ole Miss wasn't even covering him against the run. He had wide open fields and didn't run. Coker, who can't run, even came in and ran the ball. But if Bama turns the ball over 5 times, including 2 on kickoff returns, against any of the other teams left on the schedule, we'll lose most of them.

Forced and unforced turnovers killed us as OM cashed them in. But we did outgain then, more first downs, had time of possesion, was able to run the ball against a damn good defense. There were some positives.

But, scoreboard. Congrats Ole Miss.

IMO it was the worst game Saban and Kiffin have called at Bama... Just odd all the way around

Coker is good enough to win 10 games or so.

Your defense is good but meh on the back four. Bama will be fine.

Speaking of turnovers:

Was that not an Ole Miss DE planting himself in Coker's chest as the ball was being released?

Was that not a Powder Blue helmet popping the ball out on the kickoff's?

And Denzel dropped an easy interception that would have gone for a Pick 6.

Stop being a total douchebag with this shite. We beat your arse straight up.

Bama 35.5 to OM 24.5, and that's with Bama turning the ball over FIVE times to OM's ZERO. It was a strange game. Bama just needs to tighten some things up and they'll be fine. All their goals are still intact. Just win out.

I was with coaches last night watching this game, and many of them said the same exact thing. It was almost as if Bateman was scared to run. Ole Miss was obviously geared to stopping Henry/Drake. It was frustrating to watch for sure.

The thing about it is, they were a few other balls the Bama QB threw right to OM players, and they dropped them. It could have been worse. I have no idea what's going on there.

Good assessment. I do think Bama is more susceptible to a balanced attack.
Not sure who else Bama loses to. You guys can hold LF to 120 or so and force LSU to throw. Bama beats LSU.
