so true

I used to find the UT/A&M smack talk back and forth funny. But, when I sat through an A&M game, I realized how "different" they were. Very strange people.

You people have been in the SEC what, 4 years now?

And you're still hanging onto a win from year 1.

Speaks volumes about your team/fans/program

Run from daddy Texas, run from daddy LSU.

What would you do when you tried your hands at a faux-rivalry with yet another program who was clearly on a completely different level such as OSU,USC, etc?

Maybe try the SWC again.

This post reminds me of when the aggies beat Bama in their inaugural SEC season.

There was an awful lot of stroking going on between the two fan bases after the game, Bama begrudgingly showing A&M some respect, A&M touching Bama's dick and looking over at Arkansas and LSU winking.

I remember too LSU and Arkansas fans trying to warn the rest of the SEC that things were not as they appeared and that it's always best to keep an eye on the aggies. We tried to warn you but no one wanted to listen. They all thought it was just those crazy cajuns and angry pigs making their same old noises.

I remember too when LSU started playing Auburn every year and realizing that they were a lot like aggies, only toned down a bit to an aggie lite. It was refreshing.

The best way to handle the aggies is just to beat them down and laugh at them. They can take it, they're used to it, they just bounce right back up and ask for another.

What's LSU's record against Alabama in that same timeframe again? I forget.

The milkmen need to go...or at the very least be hidden behind some real cheerleaders. The corps in general looks like the biggest bunch of virgins I've ever seen. I'd keep them away from cameras.

They're definitely strange, but they have a better football tradition than many other SEC teams. They also have a massive fanbase and more money than anyone else in the conference (AD+endowment). They're still living off Johnny's success though. They haven't proven shite to anyone in the conference, that's why everyone is so bearish on them.

38-7

I kind of like them.

I think we should go ahead and cut the bullshite and add Texas, Oklahoma, Fla St. and Clemson and call it quits as for as conference expantion goes.

It's what the SEC was alway meant to be.

No need for a common opponent record comparison, when we have a head to head every year... 4-0

That's actually a pretty accurate description.

And with that, I think LSU fans (some, not all) have managed to bust-out every Texas A&M talking point within a single thread.

I love how this is all true and yet only A&M can come back with is "you're jealous" "We beat you w/ JFF, but it didn't even matter" or better yet "you're an idiot"

I'm glad to see another Power 6 member show what a delusional little cult the Texas A&M fanbase is

I think he's mocking Sarge. Sarge is always referring to TAMU as "daddy" when talking with LSU fans on here. It's funny, considering.

I was really excited when A&M joined the SEC. I thought it was awesome to have another school with military history like Ole War Skule in the SEC. They do have some strange traditions but they're unique and it makes them who they are. I have a lot more respect for A&M than I do some of the SEC charter members.
