My only concern for Kentucky basketball

After they go 18-0 in the SEC, win the SEC Tournament with relative ease, and breeze through the 1-16 and 1-8/9 games, are they going to be adequately prepared to face decent competition after facing the shitstorm that is the Southeastern Conference in basketball?
Besides Kentucky, two teams won their games this week.
Arkansas survived a middle of the road SMU team and MSU held on to beat a Division II team.

They will have played 4 Top 10 (Kansas, UNC, Texas, Louisville) teams and 2 other Top 25 teams (Providence and UCLA) in the OOC.

The only problem UK could possibly run into would be if they were mistakenly paired up in the NBA playoffs, and they'd probably be favored over some of them.

They already played adequate competition and beat them by 30 points. I mean, is the #5 team in the nation adequate? You do know they play OOC games?

UNC gonna whip that arse on DEC 13th

Ole Miss beat the mighty Nothern Arizona lumberjacks or whatever the hell they are Sunday.

I haven't watched UK that much this year. How are they against the press?

SMU has only lost 1 game in their last 20 home games and that was to louisville. I wouldn't call them 'middle of the road'. they're going to be damn good this year.

I do, but three months of playing SEC patsies is what I am worried about

It won't matter. Never really has.

It's hard to say. Kansas didn't press all that much, but when they did Kentucky passed out of it pretty well. They've haven't had much of a challenge in a good press outside of that so it's hard to say. But they pass the ball really well and with their height should be able to come over top of it with some ease.
Ask me after they play Pitino and Co. That'll be the best benchmark of whether they can handle a good one.

A "tourney team".
That's cute.

Agreed. SMU likely goes dancing this year. Nice win for the Hogs. Damn Tigers just couldn't make a shot in going 1-2 at the Paradise Jam.

Fox news put up a fight, but CNN folded quickly.
Ok, sorry, just wanted to post something.

We'll be fine once we get all of our players back and in the swing of things.
Arkansas is very good. A&M, Bama, and Georgia look solid. Not sure what the frick is going on in Baton Rouge, but they have a lot of talent and might pull off a few upsets.
Yeah, the SEC sucks, but anyone thinking that Kentucky is going to win all of their games by 30+ points needs a dose of reality.

Did you watch them last year? That team was Bipolar throughout the regular season then played lights out in the NCAA Tourney. They essentially have the same roster with a couple of Blue Chip players to replace the ones they lost
I think they're challenge will be to not play down to the competition in SEC play and lose to teams like South Carolina again. It'll definently go against them when it's time to seed for the tourney
