My most prophetic post on the Rant, before Miles was fired

If you fire Miles, and you hire Orgeron, be prepared for the possibility...

I thought he had to beat Bama to get the job, or win all the other games and play Bama well. But at the time - before Miles was fired - talking about Orgeron as head coach of LSU was funny to even imagine.

Most of us saw it coming, just not LSU fans.

My favorite fans in the country. If I had to choose a team other than Bama it would be LSU.

You had this disclaimer in the post yo.

And if he goes on a run

That never really happened, and he was still hired.

It wasn't predicting Miles would be fired. It was in the middle of the discussion (right after the auburn game) of whether they should fire Miles. My comment was that if they fired Miles midseason, and made Orgeron interim, it was possible that Orgeron could become the head coach.

It seems obvious now only because it played out. At the time, nobody else was suggesting this possibility.

The day of his press conference announcing him as interim i turned to me friend and said they are going to hire this fricker full time, watch. I don't think they used the word interim the entire press conference.

Fact is, we freaking love Coach Oeaux. Hopefully not to our own detriment. He's certainly coached under some great ones and players love him.

I wouldn't pat yourself on the back too much Nostradamus. There were a lot of us that saw this coming. We have known for some time that Alleva was a idiot and that a portion of our fan base is full on retarded.

Less getting fired was the only thing they got right. He had all the chances in the world to change. I really don't see his sealing being much higher than O's. The game passed him by and he was to stubborn to adapt.

Maybe at least there will be some change on the offensive side of the ball now.

Armchair Fans think they should be in charge of coaching hires.

This time they got their wish.

We'll see how it turns out.

Spoiler Alert:

No, they screwed that up. He got fired a year too late.

Y'all have Herman or Fuente right now if Les was fired in 2015.

There are a lot of you who claim you saw it coming now, but you can't prove it. There are always people who like to pretend they knew what would happen.
