What will screw Muschamp, if he ends up at Auburn, will have nothing to do with what goes on in Tuscaloosa.

Gus will do a fine job screwing over any DC you guys hire, regardless.

Muschamp would be a fool to take the Auburn job.

HUNH means D spends more time on the field...get worn down. Normally whichever "mind" the head coach has will trickle down through the rest of the staff.

Offensive minded head coaches will not normally have a stellar defense year in and year out. Same can be said for defensive minded coaches. It's really hard to be great on both sides of the ball on the reg

(Bama is doing it this year, but that won't last. Auburn did it pretty well with Cam Newton and Nick Fairly, but again, it didn't continue after they left)

Not true. 15 points scored in 2006 10 scored in 2007. Bama is 1-2 against him as a coordinator and 3-2 overall.

I know you can't be this stupid? In 2006 Alabama was on its last legs with Mike Shula. 2007 was Nick Saban first year at Alabama. Alabama sucked big time both those years. The Saban era truly began in 2008 when he got his first full recruiting class on the field.

So lets look at Alabama's stats against the mighty Will Muschamp after those years.

2009 vs Texas Both Mark and Trent had over 100 yards of rushing against the Texas Def. However, there wasn't much going on in the passing game as McElroy was hurt and they didn't want to burn AJ's redshirt for that one game. So judge this one anyway you want.

2011 Alabama vs Florida 38-10. Total yardage for Alabama 366 of that 226 was rushing.

And of course we all know what happened this year.

So he is 0-3 his last 3 games against Alabama and his defensive teams have been heavily exposed in run defense. Since you already are a jailbreak at corner I hope you get him.

Well he is coming to Auburn. An insider on the Auburn 247 board just crystal balled Jeffrey Holland to Auburn and the only way he comes to Auburn is if Muschamp comes. bammers are scared shitless over this possibility because they know Saban can not stop Malzahn's offense

Sorry bud we stopped it just fine with a pocket passer last time. Oh btw your top 2 wide receivers, your star tailback and Nick Marshall are all gone this year. I think we will be fine.

The question is will you guys fire Gus after he loses 2 Iron Bowls in a row? Thats what you did to your previous 2 HC's. It's going to be entertaining to watch auburn call for GUS to be fired after the Iron Bowl next year.

Yeah Auburn could very easily have 3 five star tailbacks next year and a lot of people on the Auburn 247 board think Dhaquille Williams is coming back next year

Just curious who are these great five star tailbacks? Cory Grant is gone, and Payne is gone.

Roc Thomas is the only guy I see that may be any good.

The rest of your rushing yards.
Roc Thomas 43 214 5.0 18 2
Ricardo Louis 15 179 11.9 75 1
Quan Bray 8 69 8.6 23 1
Peyton Barber 10 54 5.4 14 0
Marcus Davis 1 2 2.0 2 0
C.J. Uzomah 1 1 1.0 1 0

This isn't even if he goes to Auburn, this is just if he hypothetically returns to the SEC.

Except your whole OP is littered with references to Alabama.

How? What else does Auburn need to keep contending?

Alabama shut out Gus without an offensive TD in 2011.

Auburn's offense hasn't been hurry up since Cam Newton was here so that shouldn't be a factor.

I'm glad Saban gave Will his seal of approval.
