no confidence in your team making Atlanta for future championship games?

A realist who has a grasp of the odds ... neither SCAR or Bama will be there every year. SCAR and Bama will face-off in Atlanta eventually, this decade at least once. Hopefully soon.

Malzahn has had his share of success against Bama's defense as well. Would you say that means Bama could never defend AU while Malzahn is there?

So true

True. I still don't think it's safe to say Alabama is always going to light him up though. Kiffin, the current O coordinator, has only done it once and with Cooper and I think we can chalk 2009 up to Texas not being ready for Alabama's physicality on the line. 2011 Bama whipped his arse though.

ETA: And I'm not saying Bama didn't whip his arse this year too bc they did, what I'm saying is one game with this O coordinator is too small a sample size to determine that Bama is going to light him up year after year.

Well explain what you meant. How is his offense being weird gonna mess with his defense?

Weird offense will hamstring his d though

I do not think it hamstring them as much as the constant three and outs this year did. That goes for him being at either Auburn or South Carolina.

People want to constantly throw the fact that Bama got 600 yards and 42 points against Muschamp around and say that that means Muschamp will never be able to stop them

God dammit. Is Cooper the best ever, 600 yards good, or is he slightly under Duke and Coates? Y'all need to get on the same page brah.

We're only gonna play USCe once every 6-7 years, so I'm not overly concerned.

55-44 and frick you.

The reason Bama lit up muchamp was because Florida went 3 and out on about every offensive possession. Not hard to score some points when your offense has the ball for 45 minutes.

You have a false perception of your team.

Haha! You're using Shula's last year and Saban's first year as your argument?

And leaving out the 37 we hung on him while at Texas in the title game.

And also I see Georgia fans throwing around "34-7 we exposed Gus for the fraud he is". Do you honestly think 1 game means Gus is done?

I totally agree with what you have said about one game does not mean anything. With that being said, why did Auburn fans act like when Bama lost to Ole Miss that Nick Saban was finished and we'd never win a championship again?
It's so easy to judge another team, but when it's turned around on your team, you don't like it. Auburn fans acted the same way when Brother Oliver went to Auburn, and how they would have the best defense and win national championships and could not be beat. That didn't work so well, so I wouldn't count Muschamp as the immediate savior of the program.
