Slocum was a god at DC. I think he sucked as a head coach for pretty much the same reasons Jimmy Carter sucked as President. He was too damned inherently "good" and honest to not suck.
We need to find the best damned hungry killer DC in the country and get him on board ASAP.

It's a shame we couldn't get Pat Narduzzi back when Sumlin was hired. He visited with his family and it seemed close.

2003 (Franchione) and 2010 (DeRuyter) are the exceptions, of course.
