I would've probably bet my life he was a home-run hire at the time

So you're telling me everything wasn't hunky dory in the locker room last year. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.

He clearly lost control of the team last year, utterly and totally.

I think he's destined to fail now, but I guess we'll see.

The saddest part of all this is UT still haven't beaten them in years.

Phatimus speaks the truth. It is an interesting series as Tennessee won the first 10 games (1916-1953) and Florida has won the last 9 games since 2005. We only started playing each other yearly in 1990 and quickly became rivals because we were the best 2 teams in the conference for much of the 90's.

Florida is currently 11-11 in Knoxville and that is where the game is this year. UF also leads the series 24-19.

Year by year

Just out of curiosity, What is the difference between the 2012 Gators and 2013 Gators?

Even with injuries, why was their such a drop off? Something must of changed

How many teams thrive with their 4th string QB, walk-on MLB, etc?

ETA: think he can change the culture there? Or is he gone?

If he couldn't manage it in a year he won't ever do it.

I don't see this as losing control. Figure this happens everywhere.

You'd be wrong then (for the most part)

He needs to clean house of all things Urb, including the basic culture of the football department.

Ohio State's gonna be reeling (again) in the near future. I get that they want to win, but replacing one corrupt, hands-off hypocrite with another one will come back to bite them in the arse.

It's a miracle we did as well as we did in 2012 with the margin of error.

Florida football is a lot like Bama basketball or Jets football.

A lot of old school belief in a strong defense, but you still have to move the ball when you're on offense.

I agree. I still am not at the point of giving up on him. They struggled mightily last year. Everybody talked about how UGA got screwed with injuries. The truth is, UF was screwed worse by injuries. This year will show, barring key injuries again, if BOOM is a good HC or not.
