My God, this can't be real. Musburger seems to harbor some pretty strong anti-SEC feelings; I still remember him trying to call Les Miles out during the Tenn-Cal game in 2007. I also remember him almost stroking out that season when Gary Danielson had the nerve to say LSU might be even better than USC, during the LSU-Fla game. He's just gonna troll the whole conference now.
Anytime someone makes a bad play, we're gonna get:
"Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is supposed to be the premier conference in college football?!?"

I like Musberger, but he just tries to be way too dramatic for me.

I have my doubts this happened considering USC lost to Stanford during that game.

I was at that game. LSU loses without that score announcement. It changed everyone's mentality. The Tigers were playing to be #1. The stadium rocked for the whole TV timeout, players were jumping up and down, towel waving, etc.

Everytime I hear his two most annoying words I want to throw up: " Herbie" and "Partner".He is wayyyy too old. With all the announcers out there, why does ESPN insist on shoving Musburger & Holtz down our throats every Sat?
