Only West coaches who are 0fer against Bama.

Mullen is 0-7, average score of 28-8. Bama has held MSU to 10 or fewer points in all but one game.

Bert is 0-3, average score of 31-9. Heavily skewed by a 52-0 loss in Bert's first year.

Bert has come relatively close to beating Bama the last 2 years and he didn't have as good of a team as State I'd take Bert.

Bert's been close and the ball will bounce his way eventually. Mullen will need divine intervention to beat Saban, especially with how he's recruiting.

Bert seems like he has the better scheme of the 2, and Arkansas traditionally is a much better program.

That said, I don't think he can beat Bama at it's own game, just like Michigan St in the playoffs.

If Mullen can find another Dak, I think that gives you the matchup you will need.

Neither will beat Saban before he leaves (or they leave).

Neither. Mullen is on a downhill slide after Dak leaves, and Bert plays too similar a style - you don't out-Bama Bama.

Miles has a good shot next year.

This current recruiting class is mid-term with smaller scholarships. Last year was great and we picked off a few extra under the radar. Everyone knows ( including ole miss fans) that 2017 is the year of the dawg with such a heavy instate talent base and the numbers already screaming MSU MSU MSU!

Mullen. I know we lost by over 20 last year, but we badly outplayed Bama except for 4-5 plays. I know that's a part of football, but I think Mullen will eventually get those 4-5 plays cleaned up.
