Solid job so far for someone that's never ran more than a 5k.

Not surprising. He gets alot of mileage in Oxford neural pathways.

That's a great job. Those are brutal and rewarding but he deserves a cold beer!

His obsession with the University of Mississippi will be studied in psych classes for years. Refusing to say our name, not being able to sleep for years, losing 3 of 4 to his new Papa Hugh. No wonder he's interviewing for every job that comes open.

You guys have to kinda feel like he's coming for you. What else would a middle aged, Mississippi State coach drop weight and train for? To start being a competition/event runner? Better quality of life? To beat the shite out of Ole Miss? All good questions.

He's turning a new leaf. Raising his energy and setting a foundation for day to day success.. He's about to finish what he started here at MSU, and I prophicize that in the next 4 years Dan closes with 3 Egg Bowl wins. He won't beat OM this year, but he's adding on to what he came in and built.

He's training for Ole Miss.

Kudos to Dan for a job well done.
to him.

But what's really interesting, even with that good time that is better than what 98% of the public could do in a marathon, he still was about an hour of qualifying time to earn the right to run Boston without a sponsor exemption.

How do you know that he won't beat Ole Miss this year? That's a bold statement from a bully.

Wonder if they were using the USCG abbreviations instead of USPS

Big Grats to Dan for that accomplishment - looks like he had fun running it, and even had the time to acknowledge the MSU supporters there to cheer him on.
