Not a good look for SEC teams to have their coaches interview.

Tennessee and MSST should start their coaching searches now.

If Mullen goes to Miami, every team can be "that school up North"

He does that every season. The guy is way overpaid. Plays the contract game well.

No. He is doing a very good job considering it's MSU

Mullen is rumored to interview every year. Just the rumors that come with being successful, nothing more.

I agree. He has done wonders there.

Mullen would build a contender with just Florida talent.

Unless they didn't... This originated from a random reporter for the Sun Herald's Twitter. Not saying they haven't, but I am saying that they are on the "short list" is all the Sun Herald actually says. And Mullen has been rumored for years to interview only for us to find out it didn't happen.

That being said, it's a good job, I would love to live in Miami and coach football.

When Mullen leaves, will you guys go back to saying Ole Miss? And take that stupid Hail State shite out of your endzone?

I'm usually happy to let State fans embarrass themselves, but that stuff is retarded, even for you.

Is there a church of Scientology in Coral Gables? Can he get audited and pray to L Ron Hubbard there?

You do realize Dan has only had 1 2-6 type seasons, right?

Hail State has been our slogan for about 100 years, so I doubt it. Will you guys finally stop using Ole Miss and go with a more proper, less racist, tag line?

I usually let you embarrass yourselves, but Ole Miss is retarded, even for you.

Dan has turned Maryland down, not once, but twice already. Miami, on the other hand, is an intriguing job for coaches. Not saying that it's a great job, but it's one that draws interest for obvious reasons. Having said that, Dan may have reached his personal ceiling at State. Mullen is a good coach, but not a great coach. There are a lot of good coaches, and he's not irreplaceable at State, not in the least.

People that continue to bash Starkville in 2015, and think this is about money, look dumber than dirt.

Correct....you only have to go back 60 years to find an MSU coach with a better winning percentage.

I don't think you know what a melt is. Probably due to the lack of quality education.

Well its obviously not about money, and no one has said such. He will probably take a pay cut when it comes to living expenses. To think being in the worst college football town in the league isnt a factor is a little naive. He might not want to leave state because he hates starkville, but if the other school is in a better town, and they all are, then that is a factor, not just personally, but in the aspect of recruiting players to said town.
