It's a real possibility, although I'm sure Sirmon will lay the red carpet to the endzone out for them when they play Louisville, too.

this thread has been fun.

Kentucky isn't beating State in Starkville tho. I'll gladly eat my words if they do.

eta: CNB just from reading your posts the past couple of years, I can tell you got a sore spot for State. It really comes off butthurtish. Not judging you man, obviously don't know you; just saying that's how it looks.

I just think they're better than MSU. That's not some huge stretch or unbelievable fact. My bad it hurt your feelings.

No you don't. You want them to be better, so it will make your team's loss to UK look better on paper.Kentucky has done nothing that says they will beat State on Saturday. Now, Kentucky might win by 30, but State isn't favored by 10 at home for nothing. I watched Kentucky play USM, EKU, and EMU. They looked like dogcrap in every game. Stste was overmatched against UGA and AU on the road. State has played waaay better against crappy opponents than Kentucky. I'm not saying they will, but State should win by
10-14.

You're stupid. We're not losing six straight games. We get Tennessee, Ole Miss and Louisville at home and still have Vandy on the schedule too.

I got it now. Your confidence comes from LSU's jealousy and wanting to hire your coach. OK, carry on. I'm caught up now.

Last year stats...

Offense (Slight edge to MSU)
MSU 440.8 ypg
UK 423.1 ypg

Defense (Slight edge to UK)
MSU 459.1 ypg
UK 434.2 ypg

Home field advantage to UK. UK wins on last second FG.

This year stats...

Offense (MSU by 93 ypg)
MSU 442.7 ypg
UK 349.5 ypg

Defense (MSU by 101 ypg)
MSU 284.8 ypg
UK 385.8 ypg

Strength of schedule so far - UK (106) MSU (58)

Home field advantage to MSU. Result???

Why? Because, USM out gained them by 100+, or EMU held them to 228 and out gained them by 100+, or Missouri gained over 550+ and out gained them by 100+? What is your reasoning? Give me a good reason, and I'll shut up.

This is good information.

What I'm surprised about is the fans acting like MSU is Bama and UK is Missouri. Could it be a blowout, of course. Is it more likely to be a close game, yes.

They haven't played #2 or #21 on the road either. So, State has beat the shite out of shite teams, lost bad to one of the best teams in the country, and lost bad to a Top 25 team, but beat the hell out of a Top 25 team, and beat the dogshite out of 3 shite teams. Bad. Kentucky lost to a mediocre at best team at home, and has barely slid by against 5 shite teams. That seems logical you'd think that.

Strength of schedule really isn't a good indicator when you've been blown out by both teams you've played with a winning record. So congrats on being on the field against some good teams but never actually being "in" the game.

Miss States stats are padded against CSU, BYU and LT just like I believe Kentucky's rush defense stat is BS.
