but the amount of confidence MSU fans have in a comfortable win after losing their last two SEC games by an average of 34 points is unfounded.

No you're a douche because you keep comparing us predicting a win tomorrow to the Bama arrogance of expecting to beat everybody. Apples and oranges my friend. Not even the same stratosphere. Stupid comparison, yet you keep posting the same thing over and over and over again.

Or maybe you're just dense, i dunno.

Douche or dense; take your pick.

Actually it is in producing football and baseball players, historically. Mississippi is way up there.

Yeah I had a feeling most of you were basing it of our two road test and beatings. We're honestly not as bad as those two games were, especially the auburn game. We couldn't catch a break in the first half 21-10. Then it got ugly late in that one. GA game, we didn't compete to well and gave up 3/4 big plays.

Which city in Mississippi has a higher median income? Which city in Mississippi has a lower poverty rate? Which city in Mississippi has a lower obesity rate? Those things are easy to figure out and play a huge role in quality of life.

And no horse shite, 2 hour traffic jams, or pretentious, tenured university a-holes.

I like where I live too. Again, Congrats on liking Lexington.

That's not a city. It's a tiny town. People live there and work in Jackson because they don't want to be around the blacks. That's like comparing Lexington to Johns Creek, GA or Mountain Brook, AL.

Guess I shouldn't have bothered since Jackson and Gulfport are really the only city in Mississippi.

I don't live in Lexington now. Haven't since I graduated. It's a great place to live though.

Lexington is not arbitrarily better than anything in Mississippi, that's an incredibly ignorant statement.

I would prefer where I live now (suburban Jackson) to Lexington. There's more here, and I'm 3 hours from the MS coast, and 3 hours from New Orleans. I could also make a case for Ocean Springs, or even Olive Branch as opposed to Lexington. Not that Lexington sucks by any stretch, but it's not overall just better. It has a prettier countryside.

Jackson is half the size of Lexington. I hate NOLA, so that's not a plus to me. To each their own. I live in metro Atlanta now and love it, otherwise we'd move back to Lexington. Lexington is less an hour and a half away from Cincinnati, an hour from Louisville, two and a half hours from Indy, three hours from Nashville.

Good hiking, hunting and fishing close by. Four actual seasons. Less crime than most of Mississippi. More homogenous than most of Mississippi. MiLB baseball, good shopping, bourbon distilleries a short drive away, good dining, Keeneland, DI sports, low unemployment rate, one of the most educated cities in the country, low poverty rate, no cap on ABV for craft beer, liqour sold in drug stores and grocery stores, Sunday sales.

I have a cousin who lives in Tupelo. I've been through the state a few times. To each his/her own, I guess.

I don't know that I would go that far, Grits. Louisville isn't a terrible city if you take away the scandal ridden university that claims it.

I'm from Louisville but went to UK in 98. Lexington was boring as hell outside of the college and a few surrounding bars. Lexington has changed a lot since then but Louisville is still better from a things to do standpoint. Never been to Starkvegas so I have no opinions on it.

Louisville is much larger than Lexington just like Lexington is much larger than any city in Mississippi and several other states. There's always going to be more to do in larger cities. Like I said, I live in metro Atlanta now and there's no comparison because I live in a metro of 6 million people. Lexington is great for a small city though. It's twice the size of any city in Mississippi so it obviously has more shite for its citizens to do.

no it's just supposed to look cool for homecoming. I appreciate the effort. Will be interesting to see if they have better luck than we do with the blue hairs in Rupp. Who the hell wears a green sweater to a UK game. You all know the lady I'm talking about behind the bench.
