Yeah, this won't be enforced. I went to school there for 4 years, and they said this every game of every sport, but yet we snuck in our cowbells (covering up our pints of whiskey). They really don't care if you use them. They only say that to "cover up" any complaints made by others to cover themselves and not get in trouble. So that being said, better get used to them bells clanging and them fans dranking!
