I believe that's the point. People like you who have no idea what's happening in this State today, simplistically dwell in the past or in simplistic stereotypes. You should come visit, we might even put shoes on while your here.

I've got somewhere to be in 5 minutes and it's going to take me at least 10 to get there. I would love to finish the convo because I'm curious as to what you'd say. Maybe another time.

HBCU were established because blacks were not permitted into the so called "white" schools in the first place.

What is your point? Any person of any race can now go to the school of their choosing, so long as they meet the requirements.

The point is you were complaining about poor white girls not getting a shot at black colleges. Those black colleges would not have needed to exist if blacks would have just been permitted and not barred.

They aren't "black" colleges. Anyone can go to them. See, you want to keep some narrative going by any means necessary.

They are known as HBCUs. I did not give them that title.

Plus, she's one of the best women's basketball players in the country a team that lost the national championship game and returns 4 starters.

From a PR standpoint, MSU looks really good here. State will be preseason top three and has a lot of nationally televised games this year, and every time you'll see a feature on the star player, a poor black girl from Mississippi, being the homecoming queen. All while Ole Miss is licking their wounds from the NCAA hammer dropping.

and there it is

A&M has never elected a black girl, let alone a girl as homecoming queen.

To have a homecoming king or queen, you have to have an official homecoming.

For A&M, every home game is considered a "homecoming".

Should have elected the whole team after they stopped UConn's win streak at 100000000000000000000 games.

Can't believe any school in the South, especially Mississippi would vote any non white girl as HQ.

Mississippi is second in the nation behind South Carolina for percentage of residents that are African American.

MS is #1 in African American resident percentage, numero uno. MSU is also #1 in the SEC for AA student percentage.
