I hope your illegitimate kid has the brain development of a 35 year old when he/she gets to college and doesn't make a kid mistake.

And frick you scumbag.

A kid is dead. Real life, not some message board flame.

Guys: Don't feed this troll. He will never concede that his comments are unnecessarily offensive, and will just enjoy the argument. He can't distinguish between rivalry threads ripe for trash talking and community threads that foster connection.

A kid died because the male brain is not fully developed until well into the mid 20's or later. A kid died because he made a poor decision. A kid died because he was being a kid. He wasn't "retarded."

You are repugnant and ignorant.

Maybe someone should have told that to the dude who fell off the Jumbotron when he broke in and climbed it in the middle of the night

I'll dip out. You guys can have your kumbaya session to feel like every one of you isn't a piece of shite just like the rest of us.

This will all be fair game in the flame wars by the middle of next week. Morality is not a switch you can turn on and off.

Prayers for the kid's friends and family.

If I had died because of some stupid shite I did, I wouldn't expect anyone to feel sorry for me.

That's Darwinism. Nature. I feel bad for his family and friends, as all of you do. I'm being attacked because I don't feel sorry for him. Most of you are saying the same thing: "thoughts with his family and friends"

Enough with the faux outrage.

As a guy in his very early twenties, I have to say this is some of the best advice I've read on this message board.

This is something a true adult understands. I know I still struggle with this. My decision making skills aren't great and I am working to mature in this department. I think I'm getting better though. Just last Wednesday I was invited to a party that started around midnight that was obviously going to have a lot of alcohol involved. The problem was that I had a final exam worth 14% of my final grade the next morning at 8:00AM. A few years ago, I probably would have been dumb enough to go and show up tired and hungover for a big exam the next morning. This time? I didn't go and got a good 8 hours of sleep with a solid breakfast the next morning and no hangover. Could I have gone to that party and had a great time? Yep. Did I? No, because I knew I had something more important to take care of.

And if he were still here, I doubt he would want your sympathy. I'm speaking generally here as I don't know the specifics of what happened and you don't either, but sometimes it's fun to take risks. That's just living, to see that line, calculate the risks, and proceed anyway. Of course my risk threshold has changed significantly since I was 19, but I still take risks in my travels and action sports that you would probably so intellectually label 'retarded.' And I'm speculating here but I bet if I were to see your life I would see a hopelessly boring, prison-like succession of totally risk adverse, cubicle enclosed groundhog days safely leading to a long slow death in a hospital many years from now. Which path is right? How does one live their life? Who am I to judge? My point is you're a POS for offering your judgement in these circumstances.

Maybe you're right.

My opinions get me in trouble a lot, so I certainly don't deny being a POS.

I still believe in what I said, but I'll concede that I should have kept it to myself. I apologize, and will no longer post in this thread.

Again, thoughts to his family and friends.
