Hey DB, please let the WR beat you so we can get some magazine love. Thanks.
That's what it looks like. Haven't seen a good defensive play yet
ETA: As I post, there's a sack

I'm not watching.....but one question. Are they blitzing at all?

Honest question: would Favre start for OM this season?

I would not be surprised if Mullen is orchestrating this to get MSU some more preseason love.
Its really just a game that is being played on PS3

I don't think so
That's the problem with spring games......the defenses are typically handicapped. You can do a ton on offense if you have 7 seconds to throw the ball.

Seriously doubt it. Mackey and Brunetti have both exceeded my expectations so far in Spring practice.
Farvera would be 3rd string......maybe.

and Jefferson still has a terrible game

What I've liked about our practices and scrimmages so far is that we're blitzing and unleashing our defense on the offense. You can get a much better measure if both sides of the ball can use their entire playbook.

here's an article from the local paper on Mackey:

Lots of praise from a former piggie coach:
quote:
"He is oblivious to the rush," offensive coordinator David Lee said. "Just absolutely oblivious. He sees nothing but what he's throwing to downfield and where he's going to put the ball and give a receiver a chance to (catch) it better than all our guys right now. He's the most accurate. That's why we move the football so fast when he's in there."

I know, just thought it was funny. I been drinking all day you'll have to excuse my posts.

Your right tho, I wish they would unleash our defense where we could get a better idea of how our team looks, but then again you don't want to show much of what you have on either side of the ball before the season starts.
