Well, he hasn't won many championships so to speak, but he has an excellent record of making challenged programs and besting better programs. He is the kind of coach who makes the most of the talent he gets. He is a discipline, no short cuts, work your arse kind of coach. A hard arse so to speak, who is not fond of political correctness, tells the brutal truth whether the fans want to hear it or not, and believes in winning the right way. He has also shown an ability to adjust with the game and he will be taking a Pac 12 traditional bottom dweller to a Pac 12 Championship this year. Can he take the next step and win on the highest level of college football with a program that gets more talent? I would say it is very likely.

I agree with you. Moorhead was a good hire and will continue to be a good hire.

Too many fans way underestimated the issues a new staff faces even when you have a veteran team with a lot of talent. It is disappointing that we lost some games early but I was not surprised either.

If we were to play UK or UF today, then I think we beat them but 7-8 weeks ago those two teams were better than us. LSU has been better than they were predicted but we did play terrible, at least offensively down there.

However, to the Coach JoMo’s credit, he has stayed the course and the team has gotten better throughout the season.

Why anyone would suggest we hire Leach in three years is beyond me.

He lost to Portland State and Eastern Washington and his best team at TT was handled soundly by OM.

Whats changed in his offense from his TT days?

How so? Had he proven to be an elite recruiter when he was @ TT or as an asst at UK?

That's not even a lateral move...that's a downgrade.

So you’re holding it against him for not being able to pull in 5 stars to Washington State? no coach could do that.

He would be able to land top 25 classes at the right SEC job (an SEC West job and most east jobs) just based on regional talent.

When he was at TT, they were the number 5 program in the state and he was still winning games. This was before all the TV exposure and social media exposure so no one outside of Texas knew anything about Leach. Now he’s a pretty common name.

Did you even read my statement?
I only mentioned UK and Texas Tech...freakin dolt.

WTF does this even mean and who's fault it was the "number 5
program in the state"? I get not having the resources of UT and A&M but nothing prevented him from being behind those 2.

What? He was one of the hottest names in coaching at TT and was also om 60 Minutes.

State would be a lateral move, at best.

There's a reason state has to keep hiring coordinators.

You act like TT and Wazzou are traditional powers, they are traditional bottom dwellers who often lose to teams they should beat. Far less often when Leach was their coach.

His play calling is night and day from ten years ago. Not sure if he still calls his own plays, however.

He has recruited enough good players to put a Pac 12 bottom dweller to the top of their division. Pac 12 is P5 conference and you don't get in position to win it unless you recruit some talent.

TT wasn't a " bottom dweller" under Spike Dykes and WSU went to the Rose Bowl twice under Mike Price...sorry if it doesnt fit the narrative.

Play calling????Im talking about his basic offense, formations etc
Dont see much of a difference from TT days at all.

Ok? When did I say he didn't recruit "some talent"?

Someone else will get Leach before we fire Fathead. Tennessee or Ole Miss should’ve hired him last year. They dropped that ball
