If JoMo doesn’t get it done within 3 years State should get Leach. The pirate took Texas Tech and Washington State to top 10 teams and both were similar to MSU historically as programs

Why would Leach leave Pullman for Starkville?

AU isn’t smart enough to hire Leach.

Would be a great hire.. even more so with a program that is willing to give coaches the time it takes to get it done. The guy wins big every where he goes

Just 3 months ago, State fans said that Fordham Jo was the best hire ever. Why go after Leach? Why would he go to State? You guys hire coordinators not head coaches....

He freely admits he wants to coach in the SEC.

Would be worth it just for the press conferences.

That would be the most lateral move of all time in the sport.

One of Shula's teams held Leach to 10 points in the 2006 Cotton Bowl.

Leach would get destroyed in the SEC.

Puzzling that so many can’t see this.

One of Saban's team got beat by ULM, shite happens. If you look at Leach's overall body of work, you will see he has improved every school's program he had been the head coach at. Many don't like his personality, but his record speaks for itself. He would win in the SEC, I have no doubt.

Never had a top 10 finish at Texas Tech and never had a
team at WSU finish with a top 25 ranking (AP) but probably will finish ranked this year primarily because
the Pac 12 is hot garbage.

Averaged a little over 8 wins a season @ TT and under 7
wins @ WSU and 6-7 career in bowls and yes I get the circumstances at both places. He's a good coach but he's not some metaphysical wizard that can transform an SEC program just by X's and O's.

I doubt Mike Leach would change jobs again

He is starting to have success again. Why would he throw that away to start again and another crap school

I believe he had a top 10 finish in 2008? Had a #4 ranking going in to the Cotton Bowl, which he lost.
