Once at the top of the second deck.
Needed the Hubble Telescope to see the field.
Well, at least you were pretty close to within reach of it.

This sounds like the Kansas endzone recliners.

Yea, it's basically a poor mans version of the gridiron club which is behind the other endzone.
It's actually more expensive than the gridiron isn't it? I thought gridiron was $1,100 then you have to have a regular seat in the stadium somewhere, so technically you could get a nosebleed seat then go hang out in. Th gridiron for the game.

supply and demand bro. If peeps want to pay for it more power too them.
I cannot argue against this but its just so cheap looking for how they are selling it.

I'm assuming it has more to do with the tailgate access than the actual seating. Probably something the new tailgate contractor pitched or a test run to gauge interest for a permanent option.

Wouldn't "luxury" seating at Mississippi state mean putting a padded saddle on a cow?

That one made me chuckle.

The reason this is not a good idea is because the seats block the view from everyone else in the stadium of the players coming out of the locker room.

This....is sorta funny.
Didn't read thread. Did anybody post the crop-duster flyover gif?

Arkansas did a similar thing a few years back for a couple seasons, but marketed them to frat bros as "student-skyboxes".

LSU has accomplished nothing in its entire history

Who the hell wants to watch a game from field level?

My neighbor had a similar set up... at his funeral

They have nicer temporary setups at golf tournaments. Who is going to pay that much for bleachers and an easy up?

Gridiron club is 1500 a person from my understanding... I wasn't thinking this was 2300 a person but for like one section, but if it is that per person that is a little absurd.

A&M used to have seating like that. It was the cheapest seats in the house and used for student overflow.

I'm not sure what the big deal is with this. It's basically some filler seating in an area that had none. They aren't worth it to me, but our seating packages in the north endzone are second to none.

Which was 1000 x better than the death trap green bleachers.
It will be interesting to see what the plans will be now that we have a screen atop the SEZ.
I wish they would have lifted the screen a little higher and built and indoor concession area to connect the east and west upper sections (500s). They could have had large glass windows facing South to showcase the awesome view.
