That's awful. Damn, State has been through some shite the last few years. Hate that for Mullen, the team, the fans, and the Joseph family.

my condolences 1st and foremost to the Family and friends of he and his father, but also condolences to the MSU team and fans - sports alliances aside, it is always sad to see someone so young leave this earth.

When first hearing this on Twitter last night, I just couldn't believe it. Seeing all of his teammates tweeting about how much they'll miss him and what a great guy he was. Never drinked or smoked or even partied one of them said. I can't imagine what the family is going through, especially that poor Momma. Was probably so excited about to have her baby home for the weekend :( I sure was looking forward to watching this Bulldog in the upcoming years. Kept hearing what a bright future he had. He and Nick Bell both being DE's is kinda strange and happening almost to the day 5 years ago. RIP Keith JR and SR.

Good family. Dad came from nothing and got his degree while playing football for MSU and changed this family tree.

They were just going to see his old high school play. Weather was horrible. Man I'm sick.

I remember Nick Bell, and now this. WTF? Prayers and condolences to everyone affected. Let's not forget Kiefer McGee who drowned in an accident in 1996 or 1997. Oklahoma State is the only other team that can relate; two plane crashes and the "accident".

Rodney Stowers, RiP, had a broken leg against Florida in 1991 & died as a result of a fat embolism.

I was at State at that time. Keith Sr played right after I left.

I didn't personally know them but I sure feel sad today.

So terrible. So wrong. I feel terrible for everyone involved. RIP.

Always in these tragedies, I wonder what if?
What if the SEC didn't schedule State and Missouri til today and not Thursday? I just feel so bad.
